For years, Chuchu Duvalier struggled to find products that were truly safe for her skin and hair. She discovered that too many beauty and self-care products were filled with harmful ingredients like parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and synthetic dyes. On top of that, many were still being tested on animals, including mice—something she knew had to change.

Even the so-called “organic” options often weren’t as clean as they claimed. Hidden ingredients and tricky labels made them nearly identical to the non-organic versions, just sold at a higher price.

Out of that frustration, Duvalier Cosmetics was born.
